“This is the second completed painting of my new series and I’m loving this one as much as the first. As much as I like snakes, this is weirdly the first time I’ve ever painted one! It was fun to step outside my comfort zone and add to my range. So yeahhh here’s my first little snek in a staring contest with one of my ethereals.

I haven’t played with resin in a loooong time and I felt like it was time to break it back out. Always nerve wracking BUT worth it for the sake of experimentation. I love it without but I also love the depth it gives the whole piece.

Creating the plants was as relaxing as usual and I’m excited to see what kind I choose to complement the next. Have any requests??
